John, Ridall. Obituary


John L. Ridall, 80 of Waverly died Friday at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit, where he had been a guest for over a year. He was born in Wilkes Barre, son of the late Hugh and Anna Laverty Ridall. He was formerly employed by Acker Drill of Clarks Summit as a welder He was a graduate of Kingston Twp. High School, Trucksville, Class of 1947. He was a member of the Factoryville Sportsmen club and a life member of the N.R. A.. He served with the Civil Air Patrol during WWII. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed trap shooting. He was preceded in death by his brother Hugh Ridall Jr. He is survived by his wife, the former Abigail “Abbey” Mastro, also two sons: John Ridall Jr. of Durango, Col., Sam Ridall of Fairfax, Va. and a daughter Ann Bentindende of Grasonville, Md. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1pm at the Anthony P. Litwin Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds St., Factoryville, friends may call on Tuesday from 12 to 1pm. The Rev. Brian Lucas of the Factoryville United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly.
