Adaline M. Fassett (Rosengrant)

Adaline Rosengrant Fassett, 103, of Factoryville, died Thursday July 5, 2018 at her home. Her husband is the late Howard Fassett died Nov. 9, 1986.

She was born in Factoryville on July 1, 1915; she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lena Pickering Rosengrant. She was a 1934 graduate of Factoryville High School. A member of the Factoryville United Methodist Church. She was a contributor to the book her late daughter Allean wrote “The Hollow in Beech Woods,” a history of Factoryville Borough.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter Allean Fassett Derr, a great-grandson, Brian Bisch, a sister Ruth Drake and son-in-law Clyde Watts.

She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Watts of Factoryville; and Julia Vogler and her husband Larry of Albrightsville; son-in-law Harry F. Derr Jr of Factoryville, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Evergreen-Woodlawn Cemetery, Factoryville. Arrangements by Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes Inc., 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville.
