Adam Heitzenroder, 63, of Springville, Pa. formerly of East Brunswick, NJ passed away on Dec. 28 th after a long illness at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart. He was born Dec. 20, 1952 to the late Adam and Helen Cottrell Heitzenroder.
After graduating H.S. he learned the carpentry trade, and became a builder. He was a member of the NJ carpenter’s Local 1006. There was nothing he couldn’t build or repair. He was an avid outdoorsman and he especially loved duck hunting with his cousin Mike and lifelong friend Gary. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and the PA Trappers Association. He was extremely proud of his 3 children and his 2 grandsons.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cindy Austin Heitzenroder. 2 daughters Vicky and husband Dakota Robinson of Montrose, Pa., and Keri Heitzenroder of East Brunswick, NJ, and a son Bill and wife Alyssa Heitzenroder of Old Forge, grandchildren Chase, Waylon and soon to be baby girl, a brother Kenneth of Milltown, NJ, nephews: Joe, Ken, Matt, Brian, and a niece Abby, great nephews; Dylan and Tyler.
His family would like to thank the staff of the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, Pa. for their loving care and tender counseling through this past year.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family and are under the care of the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, Tunkhannock. Pa.
