Alan Walker

Alan K. Walker, Sr., 67, of Tunkhannock died Friday morning at his home. Born in Binghamton, NY on January 5th 1947, the son of Betty J. Walker and the late Herbert L. Walker of Lexington, KY. He graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 1964. He is a Vietnam Veteran who served with the U.S. Army Transportation Battalion. Alan worked at Proctor and Gamble in Mehoopany. He was a member of the Hallstead American Legion Post 357 and the V.F.W. He was an avid lover of NASCAR. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a member of the Lake Carey Rod and Gun Club. Surviving besides his mother are two sons Alan K. Walker Jr. and his wife Heather of Chapel Hill, N.C.; Matthew J. Walker and his wife Megan of Nicholson; a brother Scott W. Walker of Lexington, KY.; a sister Darlene D. Dixon and her husband Larry of Richmond, KY; Niece Callie L. Valle and Nephew Dale W. Walker; Grandchildren Olivia, Madison, and Blake Walker.
