Alfred Henry

Alfred “Al” Henry, 72 passed away at the VNA Hospice of Scranton, Pa. on March 6, 2016. He was born on May 9, 1943 in Taylor, Pa. and he was the son of the late William and Josephine Dziak Henry. He was preceded in death by a brother Gerald Henry and a niece Laura Puza.

Al was a member of the Nativity BVM Catholic church and was a devoted Catholic.

He is survived by a brother Arthur Henry of Tunkhannock and a sister Sharon Carr of Dallas, Pa. He is also survived by one niece, six nephews, three great nieces, four great nephews, and several aunts and uncles.

A memorial mass will be held Sat. at 10am from the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church 99 E. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Father Patrick Albert officiating. Interment will follow at the Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock.

The family would like to thank Compassionate Care Hospice and the VNA Hospice for their kindness and care of Al.
