Alta V. Kubick (Weaver)

Alta V. Kubick, 93, of Center Moreland, departed this life on July 20, peacefully at home. She will be remembered for her infectious kindness and her love of her family and chocolate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kubick, infant son Barry Kubick, daughter Paulette Keeler and granddaughter Amanda Keeler. Alta dedicated her life to serving those around her. She served as Treasurer of the Center Moreland United Methodist Church for decades, relinquishing her post after her 90th birthday. She was also a compassionate listener for her 50 years of Avon customers. Alta is survived by children Dawn Layaou and Robin (Alison) Kubick; grandchildren Jami (Miles) Hearn, Spencer Kubick, Stephanie (David) Kellerman and Vanessa (Justin) Ford; great grandchildren Dominic (Hailey) Cassarino, Anthony (Karley) Cassarino, Noah McLain, Mackenzie Ford, Madison Ford, and JR Ford; great-great grandson Colter Cassarino; and dear friend and caregiver Mary Dee Williams.. A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
