Ann Rose Lesko (Lombardi)

Ann Rose (Lombardi) Lesko died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on January 4, 2023 at the age of 77. Since April 2022 Ann lived at The Gardens of Tunkhannock for Nursing and Rehabilitation, where her husband visited nearly every day.

Survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Paul M. Lesko; sister, Jean Rusnack of Randolph, NJ; sons Joseph and Rebecca (Sherman) of Tunkhannock, PA, Paul and Liza (LoMonaco) of Bloomfield, NJ; grandchildren Kayla and Matthew; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Dombrowski; many nieces and nephews, and their children. Ann was predeceased by her parents, Jesse and Modesto Lombardi.

Ann was born in Jersey City, NJ on November 6, 1945. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1963. She met Paul Lesko, whom she married in 1966. They settled in North Arlington, NJ. She was a devoted mother and homemaker.

She enjoyed watching her sons’ sports competitions, bowling, and socializing with her family and a few close friends. The annual trip to the Elks convention was a highlight each year. Ann prepared for most holidays by baking cookies or making fancy chocolates for her friends and family. To add joy to her family’s lives Ann decked out the kitchen for every holiday and each season.

To say Ann was an Elvis fan was an understatement. She knew the words to every song, collected each movie, and left a vast collection of Elvis memorabilia for her family.

A private celebration of life will be scheduled at the family’s convenience.
