Anne M. Walker (Stuble)

Anne M. Walker, 94, formerly of Glenburn Twp., passed away peacefully on June 16 ^th at Riverside Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Taylor. Her Husband of 61 years is the late Vincent R. Walker died July 19, 2014.

Born Nov. 29, 1923, in Fleetville; daughter of the late Martin and Bertha Monsko Stuble. She was a 1942   graduate of Benton High School then moved to Elizabeth, NJ to work in a Defense plant during WWII. She returned home in 1944 and worked in the Globe store, Scranton she also was waitress in the area until retirement. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church Reese St, Scranton. Anne served in the Ladies Aid Society and International Braille Society. She was an active member in the Laurel Garden Club and served as vice president. Anne enjoyed gardening and will always be remembered for her love of flowers and her roses
She is survived by her son, Larry and daughter-in-law, Elaine Walker, Dalton; a granddaughter, Vanessa A. and her husband Gary Weaver II, Dallas, Pa.; a grandson, Vincent G. and his wife Rebeca Walker of Vernon, Conn. Grandson Aaron Lazar and his wife Jamie; and a great-grandson, Gary Donald Weaver III of Dallas PA. Great-granddaughter Maci of Erie, CO. Sister Bertha and her husband Richard Benton of Tunkhannock. Several Nieces and nephews

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Dudley, on Aug. 23, 2003.

Memorial services will be Saturday 6/30/2018 at 10 a.m. from the Immanuel Lutheran Church 238 Reese St. Scranton, with Rev. John Zimmerman  officiating. Interment at Chase Cemetery.  Arrangements by Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc.
