Anthony James Wrightson, 78, of Clarks Summit died Thursday Jan. 20, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born in Peckville on March 14, 1943, the son of the late Arthur and Edna Oakley Wrightson. He married the former Marilyn Morris on Nov. 27, 1987.
Jim graduated from Lackawanna Trail High School and worked the family farm, drove trucks and then went on to become a forklift operator for Kane Trucking until his retirement. He enjoyed watching NASCAR. He loved spending time with his family and friends at How Kola Campground, helping his grandkids bait their hooks, fix their bikes, and giving them rides in his golf cart.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his son Tracy Wrightson (Raina).
Surviving are four daughters Kimberly Doran (Kevin) of Wilkes-Barre, Toni Toland (Paul) of Wilkes-Barre Jacki O’Leary (Michael) of Lake Meade, PA, and Cindy Wildrick (Rich) of Hunlock Creek. A son Eddie Laytos (Jackie) of Nicholson. Three sisters Bonnie Zebrosky of Charlotte NC, Hedy Rittenmyer of Plano TX, and Loretta Dragon Nicholson, 13 grandkids and 10 great grandkids and many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Jim’s Life will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc., Factoryville.
