Antoinette Altieri

Antoinette Altieri, 95, formerly of Dalton died Friday morning at Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock. Born in Scranton on January 16th 1919, the daughter of the late Carmine and Adelaide DeStefano Verdetto. Her husband the late Carmine Altieri Sr. died in 1995. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting Afghans for the family. The family would like to thank the Staff at Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock for their care and compassion towards their mother. Besides her husband Antoinette is preceded in death by her five brothers and four sisters. She is survived by two daughters Theresa Hopkins of Dalton, Adelaide Warenzak of LaPlume and a son Carmine Altieri Jr. of Tunkhannock. Five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be Saturday at 10 am from the Our Lady of the Abingtons Church 700 W Main St, Dalton, with father Thomas Petro officiating, everyone is asked to go directly to church. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Dalton. Service are being handled by Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc..
