Arthur William Gable

Arthur William Gable, 86, of Tunkhannock passed away at the Residential Hospice Wilkes-Barre, on Mar. 12, 2021.  He was born in Tunkhannock on Nov. 27, 1934 and he was the son the of late Albert and Margaret Law Gable.  He was married to the former Frances Jacques for 63 years.

Arthur was a graduate of the Tunkhannock High School and he worked at P&G for 25 years.  He enjoyed beekeeping, wood working, hunting, fishing, traveling, and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter Janice Marie Gable and a brother Carl Gable.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Jacqueline and husband David Dippold of Pa., Judy and Philip Protz of NC., Arthur and Susanne Gable of NY., brother Donald and wife Violet of MI., sister Rosemary and husband Ralph Mann of GA., 8 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.
