Barbara R. Holland (Gregory)

Barbara R. Holland, 88, of Nicholson died Sunday June 8, 2025, at her home with her family by her side. Born in Nicholson on April 1, 1937; the daughter of the late William Gregory and the late Pearl Reynolds Gregory Long. Her husband of 65 years is the late Gordon B. Holland Sr. who died on October 20, 2022

She loved bowling, sewing, crotchet. Loved her dog, Ginger and her bird, Bart. She enjoyed planting flowers, watching the birds and spending time with her family.

Barbara was preceded in death beside her parents and husband by her brothers David Gregory and Joseph “Butch” Long; son -in-law Donald Gorton; great grandson, Zachary and her stepdad, Alfred Long

Surviving are her four children: daughter, Debra Gorton; son, Gordon Holland Jr. (Chris); daughter, Carol Holland; daughter Bonnie Spencer (Daniel Jr.) all of Nicholson. 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Gregory and her sister, Donna Pellett.

Funeral Service will be Thursday June 12 ^th , 2025 at 1 pm from Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville PA 18419 with Nephew-in-law Ron Stock officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 -1pm. Interment at Evergreen-Woodlawn Cemetery, Factoryville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SPCA Pennsylvania 350 East Erie Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19134 or City Wide Animal Clinic 315 Main St, Dickson City, PA 18519.
