Barbara C. Lukasewicz (Clark)

Barbara Lukasewicz, 90, of Factoryville, passed away comfortably at home on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

Born in Justus, on January 10, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Davenport Clark.

She was the last graduating class from Waverly High School. She was employed by RCA and later Little People Day Care School where “Miss Barbara” lovingly cared for hundreds of children over her 20 plus year career.

Barbara’s love of family and friends culminated in large 4 ^th of July festivities at the house. She enjoyed softball, playing into her late 50’s, scrabble and bingo. She was a proud past member of the Factoryville Fire Womens Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew B. Lukasewicz Sr. (Ben), who died in 1975, her daughter Mary “Chris” Gaultney, who died in 2007 and her son Andrew B. Lukasewicz Jr. who died 2019; brothers, Ralph (Bud) Richard, William Clark and sisters Margie Bemis, Joyce Gilbride and Jessie Trojanowicz.

Barbara is survived by her four sons: Stanley Lukasewicz, of Factoryville who was her caregiver and who she resided with, Stephen (Fran) Lukasewicz of Peckville, Timothy (Sally) Lukasewicz of Nicholson, and Dennis (Pam) Lukasewicz of Scranton; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, sister Diana Konopka of Nicholson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends .

Friends may call Saturday March 11, 2023 from 4-6pm at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville. Interment at Abington Hills Cemetery, Clarks Summit, at the convenience of the family.
