Barbara Menichello
Barbara M Frey Menichello, wife of the late Ralph J Menichello, passed away peacefully at her home in Factoryville on Wednesday evening, Nov. 22, 2017. Born September 10, 1944, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the eldest child of the late Anthony Theodore Frey and Martha M Moore.
Retired, she was a longtime member of The Factoryville Fire Company and Auxillary, as well as, the Trail Rotary Club. Barbara enjoyed history and is a well known avid reader of mystery novels. Her home was decorated with bookshelves and various history artifacts. She was an exceptionally intelligent and well read woman with a strong character and a heart of gold. She loved her family and friends and has touched the lives of many through her generous spirit including the numerous rescue animals she shared her home with through the years. She will be missed beyond measure.
She is survived by daughters; Jeanine Geerts, Veronica Geerts, Daniella Frederici and her husband Bill Frederici. Grandchildren; Marie Rhodes, Melony LaCoe, Mandy LaCoe, Rachel Smith, Kyle Smith, Coty Dippel, William Frederici Jr. Great grandchild, Gabriel Dippel. Siblings;
John Frey, Dr. Robert Frey, Gerard Frey and Susan Frey.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 11am from Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville with Pastor John Hardman-Zimmerman officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday 5 to 7 pm. Cathedral Cemetery, 1708 Oram Street, Scranton,
