Barry L. Otto,72, of Factoryville died Friday after a courageous fight with lung cancer at Geisinger C.M.C Hospital, Scranton. Born April 17, 1945 in Montclair, NJ; the son of the late Herbert R. and Evelyn E. Matthews Otto Sr. His wife is the former Carol A. Tyger.

Barry was a member of the Factoryville United Methodist Church, Factoryville Fire Company, Factoryville Men’s Civic Club and the Boy Scouts pack 175. He worked for Penn Dot in Clarks Summit as a master mechanic.

Preceded in death by his twin sister Bonny Ann Otto and several nephews.

Surviving beside his wife are two children daughter, Bonny and fiancé Tim of Scranton; son, Chris and fiancée Ronda Cole of Wyalusing. Two grandsons Michael and Cory Otto. Three brothers Herbert Jr. and Marion, Nicholson; Bruce and Betty, Summerfield, FL; Howard and Connie, Fleetville. Two sisters, Carol and Dale Shotwell, Lovelton; Lynn Stonier, Lovelton.

Memorial Service will be Saturday 10/28/2017 at 3pm from the Factoryville United Methodist Church 162 College Ave, Factoryville, with Pastor T.J. McCabe. Friends may call at the church from 1pm until service time. Arrangements by Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc.
