Carol A. Miller

Carol A. Miller, 71, of Lake Winola, passed away at the Hospice of the Sacred heart Wednesday Oct 14 ^th . She was born in Nicholson on July 29, 1944 and she was the daughter of the late Emil and Francis Smith Schack.

Carol was a 1962 graduate of Tunkhannock High School and she earned an Associate’s degree from the Keystone Junior College in Medical Secretary. Carol was a member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hop Bottom. She married Paul Miller on Dec. 10 ^th 1966. Carol enjoyed quilting and photography and spending time with family.

In addition to her husband Paul she is survived by a sisters; Donna and husband Linn Brown, of Lemon and Linda and husband Donald Clark also of Lemon, brother David and wife Kathy Schack of Brainerd, MN, sons; Brian and wife Christy of Westchester, OH, and Keith Miller, of Stevensville, Pa., 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Monday October 19th at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 5672 US-6 Tunkhannock at 10am with Rev. Kim E. Bode of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8pm at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock. Interment will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
