Carol A. Miller, 71, of Lake Winola, passed away at the Hospice of the Sacred heart Wednesday Oct 14 th . She was born in Nicholson on July 29, 1944 and she was the daughter of the late Emil and Francis Smith Schack.

Carol was a 1962 graduate of Tunkhannock High School and she earned an Associate’s degree from the Keystone Junior College in Medical Secretary. Carol was a member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hop Bottom. She married Paul Miller on Dec. 10 th 1966. Carol enjoyed quilting and photography and spending time with family.

In addition to her husband Paul she is survived by a sisters; Donna and husband Linn Brown, of Lemon and Linda and husband Donald Clark also of Lemon, brother David and wife Kathy Schack of Brainerd, MN, sons; Brian and wife Christy of Westchester, OH, and Keith Miller, of Stevensville, Pa., 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Monday October 19th at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 5672 US-6 Tunkhannock at 10am with Rev. Kim E. Bode of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8pm at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock. Interment will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
