Carol Teel

Carol Teel, 74, of Falls, died Wednesday morning February 10, 2016 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.  She was married to the late Glenn E. “Punk” Teel and they were married for 47 years.  She was born in Orson, Pa. on October 7, 1941; daughter of the late Willard and Lillian Wilson Stone.  She worked alongside of her husband Punk at their family farm and raised their 6 children.

She enjoyed cooking, canning, going for rides with Theresa “Red”, having her nails done, and spending time with family.

Carol is survived by four sons, John, and wife, Marybeth of Mehoopany, and David Teel of Falls; Timothy, and wife Hannah of Falls, and Todd and Dorothy Teel, of Falls; two daughters, Deborah Tavernia, Falls, and Tammy and husband, Scott Kresge, Lake Winola, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Carol is preceded in death by her brothers Emerson Stone, Knight Stone, and Eugene Stone, and sisters Margaret Stone and Florence Hackle.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11am at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with Pastor Gay Irwin of the Lake Winola United Methodist Church officiating.
