“What I would like in my Obit” by Clarence “Junie” Evans
I was born on July 27th, 1933 in Bridgewater twp – near Montrose. I graduated from Montrose in 1952. I retired from the Area Agency on Aging
as Service Management Supervisor in 1986. I played baseball, basketball, track, and volleyball for Montrose High and also the town team. In
1952 I was picked for All State in basketball.
I was the originator of Trail Youth Basketball in Lackawanna Trail area in 1992. Also, I was a PIAA umpire, and President of the Little League in
Factoryville for 3 years. I worked as a graduate assistant for the University of Scranton, where I received a Masters Degree in Science and
Rehabilitation Counseling. For over 20 years, I wrote a column for the New Age Examiner in Tunkhannock, concerning Factoryville area news.
All this is very expensive I know – Sorry! Leave off whatever you like.
While visiting my grave look up to heaven, hopefully, I’m somewhere up there!
Signed: Love,
Clarence Leonard “Junie” Evans JR
Thank you all!
Especially my darling wife Genevieve. For all she has done for me. I love you Genevieve!
