David G. Smith

David G. Smith, 72, of Taylor Passed away Tuesday September 17, 2024 at his home in Taylor. He was born and raised in Nicholson, the son of the late Dan P. and Pearl L. Klein Smith.

After his four years of Military Service in the U.S, Air Force he chose to reside the rest of his life in Taylor. He retired from Penn Foster. He spent his time keeping busy and lending a hand to neighbors and sitting in the garage chatting up the neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his brother Robert D. Smith and sister Connie M. Smith.

He is survived by four sisters Wanda and her husband Tom Schofield of Factoryville, Catherine and her husband Robert Petersen of Dalton, Peggy Smith of Nicholson, Sally Rapp of Scranton; a brother Kenneth Smith and Peggy of Binghamton, NY.; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Smith of Clarks Summit. Several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Also survived by Kempa children: Teddy, Taylor, Troy and KaiLeigh which he had a close bond

Friends may call at the Factoryville Fire Hall 412 College Ave. Factoryville PA 18419 on Saturday September 28 from 1pm to 3pm arrangements by Anthony P. Litwin Funeral Homes, Inc. Factoryville. Private Interment will be at the Nicholson Cemetery.
