Diane C. Yakoski ( Belet)

Diane C. Yakoski, 69, of Washington Twp. died Nov. 7, 2015 at Celtic Healthcare Wilkes-Barre. Diane was born in Newton NJ. on Sept. 7, 1946, the daughter of the late Edward E. and Fannie E. Weber Belet. Her husband is Joseph Yakoski.

Diane was a graduate of Belvidere High School 1964. She also graduated from the School of Practical Nursing where she earned her LPN Degree. Diane worked at Tyler Memorial Hospital for 17 years and was also a paramedic. Diane was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was compassionate with all of her patients as a nurse.

Surviving are Children Michelle L. Hanstine and husband R.J. (Virginia), Monica L Kenia and husband Daniel (Falls), Michael W Rogers Jr. and wife Jeannie (Springville) John Yakoski and wife Angela (Hanover Twp), Jennifer Salak and husband Dave (Omaha, Ne.)
Grandchildren are Monique, Rachel, and Ashley Kenia, Brandon and Alexis Rogers, Amanda, Nicole, and Hunter Hanstine, Megan Yakoski, Alexis and Keira Wombacker. Also are
two brothers Edward E Belet Jr. and wife Florane (North Carolina), Tim C Belet and wife Amy (New Jersey) and a sister Cheryl E Belet (Connecticut).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday Nov.11, 2015 at 10am from Nativity B.V.M. Church , Tunkhannock with Father Patrick Albert officiating. Friends may call at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock on Tuesday from 5-8 pm. Interment will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Diane C. Yakoski Nursing Scholarship Fund in care of Joseph Yakoski 7 Rosemary Drive Tunkhannock PA 18657.
