Douglas R. Staff

Douglas R. Staff, 61, of Nicholson died Friday Aug.12 2022 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley in Wilkes-Barre after an accident. Born in Dunmore on Sept. 30, 1960; the son of the late Douglas Staff and the former Mildred Seeley of N.C. His wife is the former Mary Beth Graham.

He graduated from Dunmore High School and was a machinist at what is now called General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems. He loved the outdoors even at a young age when he was in boy scouts, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking. He enjoyed going to church and serving anyone that needed a helping hand. He was a jack of all trades; he knew how to work on anything, he was always helping someone when he was asked for help

Doug was preceded in death besides his father by three sisters and one brother.

Surviving besides his mother and wife is his mother-in-law Charlotte Button of Springville, his daughter Miryah Hummel and her husband Justin of Jenningsville; two sons, Malcolm of Nicholson, and Noah of N.C. Two sisters and two brothers, several nieces, and nephews.

Memorial Service will be Saturday Aug. 20, 2022, at 4 pm from Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Rev. James G. Rugg officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm.
