Eleanor R. White

Eleanor R. White 92 of Tunkhannock passed away peacefully Tuesday morning February 8,2022 at home in her favorite chair.

Born in Harding on May 5, 1929 she was the Daughter of the Late Kenneth and Eleanor{Swartwood} Hoover.

Eleanor worked at Rowker Manufacturing in Tunkhannock, before becoming a stay at home mom.

She had a great love for the outdoors, and enjoyed watching her favorite bird the Cardinal.

Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Milton R., who passed away in 2018, Son Milton C.,   who passed in 2011, Brothers Kenneth {June}, Herbert {Herbbie}, and Howard Hoover, and Nieces and Nephews.

She is survived by Son’s Kenny and wife Patty, and Randy and wife Bridget all of Tunkhannock. Granddaughter Heather {George}, Grandson Tyler {Hayleigh} Great-granddaughter Emma, Great-grandson Geo,  Sister Evelyn Hoover Rottgen, Bradenton Florida, Brother Harold M. Hoover, Orange, Brother Ernest{Janice} Hoover Bradenton  Florida, Sister In-law Janice Hoover of Penns-Grove New Jersey , also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 4pm from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock.  A viewing will be held Thursday from 2-4pm at the funeral home.  Interment will be held at 8:30am Friday at the Perrins Marsh Cemetery Northmoreland Township.
