Elizabeth A. Rogers

Elizabeth A. Rogers, 80, of Tunkhannock passed away at her home Jan. 29, 2017 surrounded by her family.  She was born in Wanamie, Pa. on July 26, 1936and she was the daughter of the late Albert and Sophia Pointek Siperko.  She married Herbert A. Rogers On Dec. 17, 1954.  She was a graduate of the Tunkhannock High School in 1954 and worked at the Keystone Shoe Factory for many years.

Elizabeth was on the yearbook staff, a member of the newspaper club, enjoyed sewing, crocheting rugs, loved making clothes for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and anyone else in need.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by brothers; Albert and Bernard Siperko and a sister Helen Denmon.

In addition to her husband she is survived by sisters; Regina Oney, Anne Smith, Mary Mead, and Sophia Corby, brothers Jack, Philip and Gerald Siperko, children Beth Ann Megatulski, Daryl Rogers, Lynne Hunting, Herbert Rogers, and Jeremy Rogers, 13 grandchildren and 16great-grandchildren.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
