Evelyn M. Ostrowsky

Evelyn M. Ostrowsky, 78, of Meshoppen died at the Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes- Barre on Friday Sept. 10, 2021. She was born in Wyoming, Pa on Feb.7, 1943; and she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Legas.  Evelyn was a 1961 graduate of the Wyoming Memorial High School, and she was married to Bernard Ostrowsky.

Evelyn enjoyed shopping at Sallys, playing bingo, going to yard sales, and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter Michele “Moe” G. Ostrowsky.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Shawn Ostrowsky of Lake Carey, sisters; Lorraine and husband Calvin Miller of West Pittston, Eleanor Wlock of Georgia, grandson Nick and wife Amber Ostrowsky of Lake Winola, granddaughter Harley and husband Matthew Miller of Pittsburgh, great grandson Colton “bambino” Ostrowsky, and several nieces and nephews.
