Fred J. Tagliaterra Iii

Fred J. Tagliaterra III, 50, of Carbondale Twp. died Oct.15, 2015 at his home. Born in Scranton on May 24, 1965 he was the son of Fred and Judy Tagliaterra of Greenfield Twp.

Fred was a 1983 graduate of Old Forge High School and earned a degree at Johnson College in Electronics. He was a Union Electrician for IBEW Local 81. Fred trained in martial arts and was a first degree black belt (Tang Soo Do). He was an avid marksman, wining many competitions and awards. He loved to hunt. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Fred is also survived by his sister Lisa Lee and her husband Bob of Benton Twp., a brother Joseph and his companion Kristie Sovitch of Old Forge. Nieces, Mikenna Lee and Samantha Tagliaterra and
Nephews Ethan Lee and Dominick Tagliaterra, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Memorial Mass will be held Saturday Oct. 24 at 9:30 am from Corpus Christi Church – St. John Vianney Parish 704 Montdale Road Scott Township, PA 18447 with Fr Michael Kirwin officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc.
