Gertrude M. Sickler (Wood)

Gertrude M. Wood Sickler, 85, of Hop Bottom passed away at The Gardens at Tunkhannock on Monday, July 16, 2018.
Born in Springville Twp. on Nov. 20, 1932; the daughter of the Jerry and Edna Springer Wood.  In 1962 Gertrude was married to the late Philip O. Sickler who died on May 16, 2011.

Gertrude is survived by her son, Scot and step-son David Sickler both of PA; two Step-daughters, Crystal Cahill, N.J. and Bambi Ilku of PA; her brother Jerry l. Wood and sisters Laura Wells, Julia Farr and Viola Hollister all of PA; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on July 28 at the Elk Lake Community Church with Pastor Charlie S. Bishop officiating at 3 pm.
Friends may call from 2:30 pm until 3pm at the church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at the Union Cemetery, Springville Township.
