Gordon Wesley Yarbrough

Gordon Wesley Yarbrough, 45, of Lake Ariel passed away unexpectedly Mar. 9, 2015 at home.
Born in Effort, Pa. on Dec. 27, 1969, he was the son of the late Byron Wesley Yarbrough, Sr., and Shirley Dickinson Daniels; and stepson of Arthur Daniels, Waymart. He graduated from Western Wayne High School.
He was kind hearted, loving, and always willing to help someone in need. He had an artistic talent that his family will treasure forever. His family were his treasures. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and god father. He will be dearly missed especially by his family.
He is preceded in death by a sister Darlene Marie Barhite, and two brothers, Terry Lynn Yarbrough, and Shawn David Yarbrough.
Surviving are three sisters; Deborah Askew, and husband Harold Factoryville; Sarah Durso, and husband Donald, Factoryville; Sandi Mills, and husband Chris of Dunmore; three brothers Timothy Yarbrough, Rome, Ga.; William Yarbrough, Carbondale; and Shane Yarbrough, and wife Lisa, Scott Township.
Funeral services will be held at 6:30pm Friday Mar. 13, from the Harding-Litwin Funeral home 123 W. Tioga St. with Rev. William G. Rushik from the Free Methodist Church, South Canaan officiating. Friends may call from 5pm until the time of the service. Interment will be at Sunnyside cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are asked to be given to the family to help pay for final cost.
