Harry Petrewski, Jr.

Harry Petrewski Jr. , 78, of Factoryville, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 6 at his home.

He was the son of the late Harry and Dorothy (Cegelka) Petrewski born in Scranton on February 9, 1947.

Harry graduated from West Scranton High School in 1965 and went on to receive a degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University.

He married Deborah (Naylor) Petrewski on November 29, 1980. They raised two children, Mark and Kate. Harry retired from P&G as a technician after 30 years.

Harry was a devoted Penn State and Kansas City Chiefs fan, avid tinkerer, and thoughtful gift giver.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kate Petrewski; daughter-in-law, Brittany Petrewski; granddaughter Elizabeth Petrewski; brothers, Gary (Janet) Petrewski ; Jack (Mary) Petrewski.

Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Sr. and Dorothy Petrewski; parents-in-law, Robert and Audrey Naylor; brother, Stephen; and his son, Mark.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 12 at 6:00 pm at the Anthony P Litwin Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Factoryville, with CLM Beth Kostelnik, officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 to 6:00 at the funeral home.
