Helen Constance Lundy Dewar

Helen Constance Lundy Dewar, 96, of Barneveld, NY, passed away on November 20, 2024. She was born in Kingston, PA and was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen Bloom Lundy. Helen was married to the late Harry Dewar, who passed away in 2001.

Helen was a graduate of Wyoming Seminary High School and was the owner of Lundy Real Estate, Tunkhannock, PA where she was the Broker. She enjoyed painting, gardening, and she was a member of the Republican Women’s Club and of Episcopal Faith. Helen was a dedicated “Snowbird” who loved to spend her winters in the Florida sunshine, first at her home in Winter Haven and subsequently at her home in Vero Beach close to her dear friends Charlotte and Ed.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Jonathan Dewar, brother James Lundy, and sister Grace Lundy.

She is survived by her son Randy, his wife Robin, and grandson Jeffrey Hugh Dewar of Barneveld, NY, cousin Dee of Maryland, nieces Carol of New Hampshire, Joanne, and Valerie of Vermont, and nephew Walter of Florida. Nana, we love and miss you!
