Helen Ethel Williams Titman, 97, of Lakeland, FL Formerly of Meshoppen, PA Passed away Sept. 17, 2015 at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Auburndale, FL. Born in Rushville PA on June 28, 1918 the daughter of the late Frank and Minnie Brink Williams.
Helen retired from co-owning and operating the Titman’s Market in Meshoppen back in 1967. She loved to travel back and forth from Skyview Estates in Lakeland FL to Shadowbrook campground in Tunkhannock. Helen was a long-standing member of the Order of the Eastern Star Society.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Robert Titman who died on Dec. 1, 2012, two brothers Walter and Carl Williams and a sister Mildred Hantsch.
Surviving is a daughter Donna Mae Bouton and her husband Duane and a son Harold Frank Titman and his wife Joan Marie all residing in Auburndale, FL; two brothers Ralph Williams (Fay)of Binghamton, NY, and Harry Williams (Norma) of Montrose, brother- in- law Arden R Titman, Brooksville, Fl,six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be Saturday Oct. 17, 2015 at 11am from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Rev. Scott Ryan of the Meshoppen United Methodist Church officiating.
