Irene B. Sivar

Irene B. Sivar, 93, of Laceyville passed away at The Embassy of Tunkhannock on Feb. 22, 2025. She was born in Mehoopany on Nov. 16, 1931, and she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Lillian Trowbridge Bullock.  She was a graduate of the Mehoopany High School, and she earned her nursing degree from Robert Packard Hospital in Sayre and McGill University of Montreal.  She was married to the late Andrew Van Sivar.

Irene enjoyed all types of sewing and crafts, cooking and baking, she loved to travel and was able to visit almost every country.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a very special friend Ed Mohr, sister Betty Spencer and husband John.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
