James J. Curran

James J. Curran, 83, of Tunkhannock passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Mar. 11, 2025.  He was born in Brooklyn NY on Dec. 16, 1941, and he was the son of the late James J. Curran, Sr, and the late former Florence Schultz Curran.

He was of the Catholic faith, and he enjoyed working on his cars in the back yard with his sons.  He also enjoyed being around family and he loved his grandchildren.  He adored his wife for over 50 years.

In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death by sisters June Hurbert and Florence Stack.

He is survived by his children; James Curran, Tunkhannock, Jennifer Curran, Tunkhannock, Philip Curran and girlfriend Kara Bobeck of Dallas.  4 grandchildren; Michael Curran, Devin and Daniel Brown, and Hayden Curran all of Tunkhannock.

Blessing services will be held Sat. March 15 ^th at 11am from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W.
