Jason Sabatella

Jason Anthony Sabatella, 36, passed from this life on October 24, 2015. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Patty Morykon, Tunkhannock, PA and Vincent Sabatella, Cheyenne, WY. He was a loving father to Angelina Rose.

Jason was a graduate of Riverside High School and attended classes at Keiser University in Florida before returning to the state of Wyoming, where he resided for many years. He was a personable young man with a strong work ethic. Jason had a zest for adventure that was unparalleled contributing to his spontaneous and free spirit. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his daughter, Angelina, and nieces and nephews: Madison, Wesley, Hunter, Ryan, Kylie and Jake.

Jason is survived by his mother Patty and husband Rich Morykon, of Tunkhannock; father Vince and wife Cynthia Sabatella of Wyoming; sisters Rachel Sabatella, Tunkhannock; Sabrina Lesh, NC; step-sister Ashli Frable, PA; and step-brother Rick Morykon, FL. He was also preceded in death by brother, Ryan Sabatella; step-brother, Nik Morykon; uncle Richard Tuey; grandmother, Genevieve Tuey; and grandparents William and Mary Sabatella. Jason was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held at the Mount Carmel Cemetery, O’neil Highway Dunmore on Saturday Oct. 31 at 10am. A viewing will be held Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints 411 Mile Rd. Tunkhannock from 4:30pm until 6:30pm.
