Jennifer Vanko Corless

Jennifer Vanko Corless, 42, of Charlottesville, VA, passed Sunday December 23, 2018 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD.

Born July 29, 1976 in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of Anthony Vanko Sr. of Factoryville and Ann Tylutki Vanko of Nicholson.

Jennifer is of Catholic faith, graduated from Lackawanna Trail High School in 1994 and earned her Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from Northeastern University in Boston.  She was currently employed by Keryx Biopharmaceuticals as a Medical Science Liaison.

Loved by many, Jen had such a kind and generous heart. She loved coming home to spend time with her family, especially her niece and nephews.  She enjoyed her gardening, traveling, music and cheering on her favorite teams, the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.

Surviving are her husband, Matthew G. Corless, her sisters Courtney Vanko and Kelly Suprick and husband Mark, brother Anthony Vanko Jr. and wife Carrie, her niece and nephews, Elle, Tony, Greyson Vanko and Colton Suprick, grandparents Marie and Stan Klocek, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private blessing service with Rev. Arbogaste Satoun will be held on Friday, December 28, at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Home, Factoryville PA, Interment at Evergreen-Woodlawn Cemetery.
