Jo Ann Webb, 79, of Mehoopany went to be with her Savior Jesus at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore on Dec. 21, 2015. She was born in Jersey Shore. Pa. on March 25, 1936 and she was the daughter of the late Earl Forsythe Hyde and Mary Frances Moorhead Hyde.

Jo Ann was a 1954 graduate of the Delhaas High School, Bristol, Pa. and she was married to William Edward Webb, Jr. for 60 devoted years. She worked as a microfilm technician for many years.

She was an artist of every medium (oils, chalks, watercolor, ceramics, etc), an avid reader, enjoyed crossword, jigsaw puzzles, scrabble, and she was an animal lover. She supported Humane Societies, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Samaritans Purse.

Jo Ann was a member of the TOPS club of Levittown and a Laceyville, and she a past member of the Presbyterian Church of Levittown and Wyalusing Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Red Hats and a former Girl Scout Leader.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister-in-law Marjorie Stinger. Mother and Father in law William Edward Webb, Sr. and Delilah Frances Webb.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughters; Judith (Fred) Priebe of Delaware, Barbara Jo (Marty) Fenton of Sugar Run, Sandra Webb and companion Carla Frank of Laceyville, and Peggy (Frank) Tyler of Sugar Run. Grandchildren; Rafael (Jen), Kristi (Noel), Andres (Dana), Rebecca (Zach), Sara (Adam) and Joseph. Great grand children Raina, Finn, Kalista, Jesiah, Destiny, Dominick. Step grandchildren Clayton and Parker. A sister Beryl Bailey, brother Bruce Hyde and wife Dot. Several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God the Savior. For the almighty has done great things for me and holy is his name. Luke 1:46, 47,49.
