John A. Allison Jr.

John Andrew Allison Jr., 70 of Factoryville died on Saturday May 21, 2016 at Allied Skilled Nursing, Scranton. Born in Montgomery, MD on May 13, 1946 the son of the late John Andrew and Virginia Maude Burdette Allison Sr.

He was a Navy Veteran. Before retiring he had worked as a contractor for Sun Building Systems, Taylor.  He loved Camping, Fishing, hunting, golf woodworking, the Ohio State Buckeyes and loved his Beagle Jacob.

Preceded in death beside his parents is a son-in-law Garry Ferree.

Surviving are his loving wife of 19 years, the former Shelley Lysak of Factoryville; two daughters Ginger Allison of Fort Myers, FL and Christine Ferree of Bronson, FL; a son John Andrew Allison III “Joey” of TN; two grandchildren Darien and Channing; three step grandchildren Heidi, Issac, Karlee; a sister Carolyn Ferneaux  “Jill” FL.; niece Jennifer Fedele and husband Frank of Boonsboro, MD; great nephew Andrew.
