John L. Bebb

John “Jack” L. Bebb Jr., 80, of Benton Twp.  Died Sunday July 25, 2021, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Wilkes- Barre.  Born in Olyphant on May 18, 1940; the son of the late John L. Bebb Sr. and Elizabeth Jones.

John was a partner in life and work with his late wife Jean Longenecker Bebb, who died July 1, 2021, in

owning and operating Tunnel Hill Ice Cream stand in Factoryville. They would have celebrated 62 ^nd wedding anniversary on December 5 ^th , 2021. He enjoyed going camping in Florida and Pennsylvania. They spent their winters in Arcadia, Fl. where they attended her own family run church, Church of the Brethren and attended Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his son Michael A. Bebb who died on May 3 ^rd , 2020; by both brother, Harry Bebb and wife Diane of Arizona; also, by sister Carol Heller her husband is Fred who lives in Hop Bottom.

John is survived by his son John L. Bebb III and his wife Kathleen of Factoryville; brother Richard Bebb, Scranton his wife was Vivian who died and also his partner Joyce Holly died; sister Ruth Zeiler and husband Don, Columbia, NJ.; sister-in -law Gloria Sheets and her husband Jim of Colombia NJ; Two brothers-in-law Allen Longenecker and his wife Sharon of Johnsonburg, NJ; John Longenecker and his wife Roberta of Florida; many nieces and nephews and cousins. Jack’s kind spirit will be missed dearly.
