John (Jack) Greenley 90 of Thurston Hollow Tunkhannock, Pa entered into rest on Jan. 15 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his caring wife of 68 years, Florence Jackson Greenley. He was born in Thurston Hollow on March 19,1927. He was the son of the late Ralph and Ellen DeGraw Greenley.
Jack is also survived by his children and their spouses: Lynn Daniels and Richard Daniels, and Pamela Greenley and William Kois, three grandchildren: Robert and Ella Daniels, Sydney Greenley-Kois, two brothers, Roy and Carl Greenley, and three great grandchildren William and Ryan Daniels, and Aryssa Brown. One grandson, Jack Daniels, preceded him in death.
Jack farmed in Thurston Hollow his whole life and was employed with Procter & Gamble for 22 years. He was an avid hunter and gardner.
Funeral services will be held Saturday Jan. 20 at 12 noon from the Center Moreland United Methodist Church 17 Creamery Road Tunkhannock with Pastor Harold Schoor and Reverend Joel Byer of the Tunkhannock Pilgrim Holiness Church. A viewing will be held at the church from 11 Am till the time of the service. Interment will be held at a later date at the Perrins-Marsh Cemetery, Center Moreland.
