Joseph Robert Minzak

Joseph Robert Minzak, 67, of Falls passed away at his home Nov. 10 ^th surrounded by his family.  He was born on Feb. 27, 1956 and he was the son of the late Joseph and the former late Theresa Wascavage Minzak.  He was married to the late Susan Minzak who passed away in 2007.

Joseph was a retired mechanic and was a veteran serving in the US Army.  He loved to hunt, fish, going on walks through the woods and trails.  He loved going kayaking down the river and he enjoyed the outdoors and being with his family.  He got enjoyment when he got to go on his yearly camping/kayaking trip with his son and grandsons.

In addition to his wife and parents he is preceded in death by brother Stephen Minzak in 2017.

He is survived by his daughter Jennifer and husband Spencer Shaffer of Wyoming, a daughter Anna and husband Wayne Greene of Massachusetts, a daughter Bobbi Jo and husband Justin Ely of Liverpool and a son Joseph Minzak Tunkhannock, and Fiancé Joan Newhart of Tunkhannock, grandchildren; Paige, Dakota and wife Christina, Tamara, Dylan, Grant, Jase, Susan and Aiden, great grandchildren Addalyn and Colin.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
