Judy Lee Snow of Lake Carey, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully and surrounded by love at Allied Hospice Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania on 21 May 2026. Judy was born on 23 January 1946, in San Bernardino, California, to the late Martin Henry Sponsler and the late former Mary Margaret Pump. She graduated from Pacific High School, in San Bernardino, California, in 1964.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband Howard W. Snow II, who passed away on 10 December 2009, in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania.
Judy and Howard owned Coastal Community Credit, a credit reporting agency with multiple locations in Southern California. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her interests included quilting, scrapbooking, and caring for animals. She was a social butterfly who cherished and nourished all of her friendships.
Judy was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved to volunteer doing genealogy.
In addition to her parents Judy was preceded in death by her twin sisters, who died at birth.
Judy is survived by her daughters Jeanni L. Stewart, of La Quinta, California, and Jennifer N. Coolbaugh, of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania; stepchildren, Howard Snow, III, Kathy Mosley, Christopher Snow, Kenneth Snow, and Scott Snow; grandchildren Amanda K. LeDoux, of Ocala, Florida, Kayla N. Coolbaugh, of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, John E. Coolbaugh, III, of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, Brandae Mosley Rossini, Kevin Mosley, Nathanial Mosley, Brandon Snow, Ryan Snow, Eric Snow, Jeremy Snow, and Lea Snow; and 13 great grandchildren, all of Ventura County California.
Judy was also survived by her beloved companion Hoyt H. Keiser, Jr., of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania and her fur baby Tammy.
Funeral services will be private at the family’s convenience.
