Kathryn A. Dolechek, 79, of Factoryville died Saturday morning at her son’s Carl’s house. Born in Scranton on Sept. 21, 1937 the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Herman Lynott. Her late husband August J. Dolechek Jr. died March 5, 2009, they celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on Feb. 11, 2009.
Kathryn graduated from North Scranton High School. She worked in the cafeteria at Factoryville Elementary School then worked as a secretary for both American Technical Industries and at Dr. Bush Dental Office. Kathryn’s beauty was not only on her outside but also in her soul, she loved people and doing anything for anyone.
Surviving are two sons A.J. and wife Sharon; Carl and wife Cindy; a daughter Lori and husband A.J. Chuck all of Factoryville. Six grandchildren Kyle, C.J. and Kate Dolechek, Nikki Glowatch, Brad and Ashley Chuck. Three great grandsons Austin and Tyler Glowatch and Riley Dolechek and great granddaughter Dakota Chuck.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday at 10am from Our Lady of the Abingtons Church, 700 W. Main St. Dalton Pa., with services by Rev. Arbogaste Santoun, Pastor. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8pm at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville. Interment at Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.
