Kenneth Shefler

Kenneth D. Shefler, Sr. 76, of Noxen/Harveys Lake passed away after a courageous short battle of cancer April 8, 2018 at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Dunmore, Pa.  Kenneth was born Mar. 23, 1942 in Beaumont and he was the son of the late Maurice and Martha DeRemer

In addition to his parents and wife the former Carol Engleman, Kenneth is preceded in death by brothers Russell and George, two sisters, and an infant son Robert.

Kenneth is survived by a daughter Carol Lynn Hontz of Lithia Springs, GA, Kenneth Jr. Swoyersville, Linda Walters, New Albany, Michael Harvey’s Lake, Owen Monroe Twp., brother Henry, Fl, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He worked as a construction worked with the Rothstein Construction company.

He enjoyed Tinkering with anything he could fix and he enjoyed watching Westerns.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 7pm at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock.  A viewing will be held from 5pm until the time of the funeral.   Interment will be private at the Orcutt’s Grove Cemetery at a later date.
