Kenneth L. Vanderburg

Kenneth L. Vanderburg Sr. 78, of Factoryville died Wednesday July 20, 2022, at Geisinger C.M.C, Scranton.  Born in Scranton on December 3, 1943, the son of the late James and Helen LaCoe Vanderburg. His wife is the former Alice Warren.

Ken is a 1961 graduate of Newton-Ransom High School. He worked at Whipples lumber and retiring from Judge Lumber in Scranton. Life member of the Factoryville Fire Company. Although he didn’t hunt, he helped many hunters process their meat. He enjoyed gardening, helping his family by tilling and harvesting their gardens. He loved Square Dancing.

He was preceded in death by his eight brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, his son Kenneth Jr. “Buck” and his wife Laraine of Factoryville, brother-in-law Bob Ciero of Bloomsburg, several nieces, and nephews.

Memorial Service will be Saturday July 30, 2022, at 2pm at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville with Rev. Paul Fields officiating. Interment at Evergreen-Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at 1:30 until 2 pm.
