Louise B. Jadick, 93, of Tunkhannock passed away Oct. 16, 2015 at the Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock.  She was born in Wilkes-Barre on June 12, 1922 and she was the daughter of the late Michael and Jennie Baroody Brody.  Louise was married to George Jadick for 54 years until he passed in 2001.


Louise was a 1940 graduate of the Tunkhannock High School.  After graduating Louise worked at the courthouse for a short period of time before becoming a secretary at Sire Power.  She was a member of the Business & Professional Women’s Club, she enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, and she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents and husband, Louise is preceded in death by a sister Alice Spencer and a brother Michael Brody, Jr.

She is survived by brothers George Brody of Noxen, Jim Brody and wife Shirley Brody of Evans Falls, and John and wife Marilyn Brody of Evans Falls, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday Oct. 20th at 10am from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Reverend Dr. Donald Drewett of the Tunkhannock Presbyterian Church officiating.  Friends may call from 5-7pm at the funeral home on Monday.  Interment will be at the St. Mary’s Cemetery Hanover Twp.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospitaal 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 and/or the St. Joseph’s Center, 2010 Adams Ave, Scranton, PA 18509.  For online directions or condolences visit www.aplitwinfuneralhomes.com
