Margaret M. Benninger (Westbrook)

Margaret M. Benninger, 91, Of Clarks Summit died Sunday April 15, 2018 at her home. Born on May 20, 1926 in Binghamton NY; the daughter of the late Earl and Beatrice Schrader Westbrook.

Margaret was married on April 21, 1945 to William “Bill” Benninger they moved from New York to Clarks Summit in 1956 and lived in the Summit for Several Years also lived at Tall Timbers Trailer Park where she was known for giving lollipops to all the children. After the death of her husband Bill, Margaret moved to Allied Summit Apartments where she was loved by all and loved Bingo and Shuffle Board with all the friends she made there. She also loved the Casino it was her favorite place to go.

Margaret was the most giving caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother; her family was very important to her. The family will always carry her Memory in their hearts.

Preceded in death beside her parents and husband is a brother Albert.

Surviving are two daughters Carol and husband Willard Williams and Audrey and her late husband  Benjamin Draper; Five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday April 18, 2018 at 7pm from Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St, Factoryville with Pastor T.J. McCabe officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home an hour prior to service time 6-7pm.  Interment Fairview Memorial Park
