Margaret A. Yarnchak (Grochowski)

Margaret Ann Yarnchak, 77, of Scranton, passed away February 16, 2024, in Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. Born in Scranton on July 17, 1946; the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Grochowski. Marge’s late husband, William Yarnchak Sr., who died in 2009.

She graduated from West Scranton High School in 1964. She worked for Gerald Williams Adjustment Services, Scranton as an office manager. She enjoyed cooking and had a great sence of humor. She was a loving mother and friend that loved her animals, her cats and dogs.

Preceded in death by her daughter Kristen Yarnchak, who died on Dec. 31, 2021 two brothers, Joseph and Stephen M. Grochowski; and a sister, Joan Warrick.

The family would love to express their love and gratitude to her caregivers Debbie Davidson and Jodi Brooking for the affection they gave to Marge.

Surviving is her son, William Yarnchak Jr. of Newton Twp. and his wife, Susan.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Taylor. Arrangements by Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc., Factoryville.
