Marian Martin Franko

Marian Martin Franko, 92, died at the Sea Breeze Skilled Nursing Facility Vero Beach, Fl on Oct. 3, 2022.    She was the widow of John Franko III who died in 1980 and Wayne McClendon from a second marriage who died in 2014.

Born in Pittston, Pa., daughter of the late Joseph Patrick and Mary Kreidlo Martin.  She was a member of St. Anastasia Church, Ft. Piece, Fl.

Marian lived in Falls, Pa. until 1982 when she moved to Florida.  She has lived in Florida for 40 years.  She loved Florida according to her it was “Paradise”.  Marian enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, boating, and being with her family.  She also loved vacations to the mountains of North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers Joseph and Bernard Martin and a sister Dorothy Kenia.

She is survived by four sons; John Franko of Fl. Gery Franko and wife Diane of Fl, Lawrence and wife Debbie Franko of Nicholson, and Joseph Franko and wife Erin of Fl., sister Anna Mae Davidson of Falls, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

A mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday Oct. 18 ^th at 10am from The Church of the Holy Redeemer 2435 State Route 92 Falls, Pa.  A visitation will be held at the church from 9am until the time of the service.  Interment will follow at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.  For online condolences or directions visit www.aplitwinfuneralhomes.com
