Marie H. Hoffman (Masters)

Marie H. Masters Hoffman, 90, of Scranton, died Tuesday Dec. 6, 2022, at Regional Hospital of Scranton. She was married to the late Clifford Jay Hoffman Sr. who passed away on June 20, 1984.

Born in Scranton on November 3 ^rd , 1932; the daughter of the late Earl and Mary Games Masters.

Marie was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. She worked at PNC Bank North Scranton as a bank teller. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed going on bus trips to Atlantic City casinos. Marie was a member of the North Scranton Centennial Club.

Surviving are Daughter-in-law Pamela Manning Hoffman three grandsons, Addison, Brycen and Colton, all living in Factoryville; sisters-in-law Marie Lydon Masters and Marie Litterio Masters; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son Clifford Jay Hoffman Jr. who died on Sept. 9, 2015 and her brothers Earl, John, James Henry, James Masters; sisters Helen Greaves and Gladys Schuler; brothers-in-law Bill Greaves and Mickey Schuler.

Funeral service will be Saturday Dec. 10 at 3pm with Pastor George J. Mathews Jr. presiding at Anthony P. Litwin Jr. Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 Reynolds St. Factoryville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1to 3pm. Interment will be at Dunmore Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American heart association at www.heart.org or to www.autismspeaks.org
