Mark Adam Petrewski

Mark Adam Petrewski, 31, of Factoryville, passed Saturday morning at
Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born in Tunkhannock on Feb. 2, 1984 and raised in Factoryville. He was the
son of Harry and Deborah Naylor Petrewski. He was a 2002 graduate of
Lackawanna Trail, 2006 graduate of Slippery Rock University, where he
attained his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and later earned his
master’s in Exercise Science from Cal University of Pennsylvania in 2010.
He was married to Brittany Petrewski on June 12, 2010.
Mark was a former physical education teacher as well as a therapeutic
recreation worker. He coached football, wrestling and track at both
Lackawanna Trail and Lake Lehman. He loved cars, hunting and music.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter,
Elizabeth (Libby) Petrewski; sister, Kate Petrewski; in-laws, Pat and
Harold Noble; maternal grandmother, Audrey Naylor; and maternal in-law
grandparents, Furman and Dolores Lunger.
He is preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Harry Sr.; and Dorothy
Petrewski; and maternal grandfather, Robert Naylor.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. at the
Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev.
Linda Eckersley, pastor, officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on
Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Elizabeth Petrewski’s
name to support her college fund. Donations can be sent to P&G Credit
Union, PO Box 210 Tunkhannock PA 18657.
Interment will be at the family farm, Factoryville
