Mark J. Scala

Mark Jude Scala, 67, of Factoryville and Clarks Summit, died June 27, 2023, at Guardian Healthcare at Taylor. Born in Jersey City, N.J., on June 15, 1956, he was the son of the late Francis C. and Marilyn J. Ertle Scala formerly of Pompton Plains NJ and Factoryville PA.

During his life Mark worked in concrete, as a ground man in tree service, long haul truck driver, maintenance for the Factoryville Sportsmen Club, and most recently on the night shift at Home Depot.

He is survived by a son Kyle; two brothers, Joseph and wife Robin of Factoryville, and Jay and wife Sandy of Nicholson, Pa.; five nieces and nephews.

A Blessing service will be held Sunday July 9 at 2pm. Friends may call at Anthony P. Litwin Funeral Homes 33 Reynolds St, Factoryville from noon until Service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Abingtons, 700 W. Main St., Dalton, Pa. 18414.
